For players who have ever wondered what it might be like to drive a truck (lorry) for a living and go on long haul trips similar to what the Ice Road Truckers do on TV, 18 Wheels of Steel Extreme Trucker 2 is a PC game which offers a chance to simulate that experience without leaving a comfortable chair at home. Players start out with a single haul truck and can build upon that, ending up with multiple trucks, which are sent on routes located on some of the world's most extreme roads. 18 Wheels of Steel Extreme Trucker 2 offers five locations, which include local elements like rainforest, snow and ice, mud and water.
Players can upgrade through the game and attempt to knock out the competition by being the best driver and fastest trucking company. There is maximum/minimum loads, high-risk cargo, over-sized loads and more available as challenges in 18 Wheels of Steel Extreme Trucker 2. Locales include Montana, Northern Territories, Bangladesh, Bolivia, and Australia.
